ALCO has committed to reducing its environmental impact. We are part of a national program which collects Used Lead Acid batteries and recycles 97% of each battery. The lead is then used to manufacture new batteries. This full battery lifecycle plays a large part in reducing our environmental impact.
We are industry leaders in recycling batteries and providing solutions to businesses that have to manage large volumes of used batteries. We understand the logistical and legislative issues associated with managing and disposing of ULAB and offer a range of solutions to make this process simple and efficient.
We operate a modern battery recycling plant that breaks ULAB into their component parts so the materials can be recycled and used again. Our world class facility is located in Wagga Wagga, New South Wales.
